Why worry

I would expect a local hostelry will be able to show you the match and you can sup some of their fine beverage. :D

If i was desperate (and not quasi-teetotal) I would be there myself (oh, and if i didn't have BT sport).

Blimey, I started my email with positives. Sounds like the automated reply I got means they interpreted the positives as a negative. Oh dear. Sounds like they send out a standard reply without reading it properly.

Sent email again with contact number and got a call within the hour from a very apologetic lady and we have come to a resolution of a higher broadband speed and a reduction in my monthly payment which appealed to me so I am staying with Virgin also she could not give me a specific date but did say that an agreement with BT would be soon and the sports channel would be restored... the only downer of the afternoon was when she found out I was a Liverpool supporter she did snigger a little but she was not happy when i told her under Moyes the manc would finish 4th this year so a big thank you for supplying the email address
