I'm astonished at that remark (if I've understood it correctly). The switches used by VM in their core are proper high throughput, high resilience devices, with fibre trunks etc. It wouldn't be possible to include a low grade switch in the network.

Definitely an improvement but I'm not willing to say "fixed" just yet. How about some modem stats and we'll see if anything is amiss?

Thanks for your reply, as requested attached are my statistics.

Even though I've changed upstream channel, performance does vary allot.
Here is my latest TBB graph:

What exactly do you imagine is the difference between a "high throughput" gigabit switch and an "ordinary" gigabit switch, considering both throughput data at exactly one gigabit?!

Stop nitpicking. I didn't mention Gigabit - Kush did. And you know exactly the point I was driving.

You're implying there's a difference. There isn't. Virgin Media use tons of gigabit switches throughout their network, I'd say the majority of ports would probably be gigabit. How are they any more "high throughput" than an ordinary gigabit switch with the same throughput?

Stop pulling the "stop nitpicking" get-out out of your arse every time you're incapable of actually participating in a debate when you get pointed out for saying something wrong.

You just go for nitpicking. It's your trademark. I said nothing wrong whatsoever. You just made up an extension for the sake of nitpicking. You can be more constructive than that.

Your stats are reasonable. Not amazing, but within spec sort of thing. Your graph is about the same - could be a lot better and I suspect something is going on, perhaps Seph or someone else would be better to speculate as to what.

You are only on one upstream channel though, perhaps it's just a bit of congestion and when you get your second, you'll hopefully see an improvement.

You was nitpicking and being pedantic about kushans jokey comment but cry when someone does the same to you? Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Will rebooting the shub until a different upstream is connected belp at all?

Ignore the red line, rebooted the Superhub as it just started its 9th day uptime.

Looking good in Cambridge CB24, now on 8 downstreams and 2 upstreams with SH2.
