I am off up The Abbey Stadium tonight to watch some head tennis.

It should be rivetting stuff.

In fact we are so bad at the moment, that even Crawley are above us in the table who had 10 points deducted before the season started.

U's are on the lookout for a new manager.
Any takers ?

We are still top though I'm not laughing tonight. Though Tranny and Port Vale did lose so that softens it slightly.

You support everyone so every time we lose it will be to one of your teams

Sods Law that Forest have to lose to one of them,;) Last season it was 3-0 home wins for Latics v Forest, Forest v Latics, every chance you will win 2-0 at Boundary Park.:)

Well, that was a much better performance all round by United.

United done most of the attacking in the second half, which shows that things are beginning to turn around on the pitch.

It's a shame about the final result, but it was a well taken goal by Kidderminster.

Oh and Courtney Pitt was excellent tonight, a well deserved MOM

FT U's 1 (71 mins) Kidderminster 1 (89 mins)

another bad result for Palace.. not very impressed at all.. thank god we got a few wins under our belt in the first few games.. trouble with Jordan as well is that we finally get a decent manager but he's already said take us up or you are sacked.. not a great environment to work in

we have a weaker squad than last year too so not really much hope anyway

on another note.. what on earth is the point of Ashley Cole releasing an Autobiography.. he's only about 26 and only part way through his career :Yikes: sure he's won a few league titles and cups but that's about it.. apart from reading about his time at Palace what else :D , apart from pure greed, is the point of releasing something now ?

Ball boy scores in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept 12 (Reuters) - A Brazilian referee faced suspension on Tuesday after she awarded a goal that television pictures showed was scored by a ball boy.

The 89th minute goal allowed Santacruzense to snatch a 1-1 draw at home to Atletico Sorocaba in the Paulista Football Federation (FPF) Cup on Sunday, a regional tournament played in the state of Sao Paulo.

Pictures showed that after a Santacruzense player shot narrowly wide, the boy collected the ball with his feet and took it back on to the pitch.

However, instead of returning it to the goalkeeper, he subtly tapped it across the line into the net.

Although there was nearly 10 seconds between the shot going out and the boy placing the ball over the line, referee Silvia Regina de Oliveira awarded a goal amid furious Sorocaba protests.

Suppose it's worth a try over here...the goal stands if missed by the ref and if it's a ref you don't like, they get suspended for good measure :) :D
