Only one other team in PL history has thrown away a lead of 10 or more points past Christmas. :erm:

Question of whether Liverpool can win the league will be changed to whether Liverpool can win the league without losing soon.

Remember 4 times in the last 30 years we have been top at Christmas and each time we failed at the end of the season.

Its not over until the fat lady sings.

Why did he not go off when he was hobbling badly? as he has made it worse by staying on.

Feel for Emerson. Think it's a red regardless but that's some horrifying play acting. You'd think he'd broken his arm. Get up you muppet.

Definitely a red but yes the usual play-acting.:(

Oh dear more diving and Atkinson has given a penalty.

Some actual justified VAR. Only Sterling could miss twice and still score.

He's stood on his foot. That's what the player was alluding too. Everyone including the commentator assumed he'd been pulled. It's a penalty. The ref missed it VAR didn't. So far this is a fair refereeing performance. It's a red card simply for denying a goal scoring opportunity and it's a penalty for missing the ball and standing on his foot.

Well if that is a penalty then we might has well award 10 penalties in each match because some of these VAR decisions are beyond a joke.

Yeah generally when you miss the ball and stand on the player that'd be a foul. Not sure what you're watching. Everyone else's clearly watching the tug. Watch the feet. He literally steps on him. In football boots. That weigh nothing.

There shouldn't have been a reason for a retake. If both sets of players are encroaching it should nullify the other out. Two shocking penalties from Sterling.

If only Southgate could get out of Sterling what Guardiola can. I take it all back. He might have only managed big clubs but after having Benitez, these blokes are in a class of their own.

How on earth could you call that a fair, shoulder to shoulder challenge from Traore, he barged Mendy in the back?
