Their is a saying that springs to mind.

Cut off your nose to spite your face.

Aye the show is getting better and better. This episode seemed more like a TNG episode as well.

It’s ticking along, but............I mean I’m enjoying it, but when you compare it to something like the Mandalorian..............,

It’s too slow, too sentimental.

I like the admiral.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery

The actor playing the admiral was in the Mummy.

I'm loving it so far and thankfully the future is allowing them to make the show what it should have been at the start.

Great retrofitted upgrades to the ship.

The guy who plays the admiral is in a lot of stuff, but he's always a minor character. I'd love to see him be a lead.

I thought this weeks was far better than last week. Quite enjoyed it.

I mean, now I’m being lectured on what gender pro-noun to use by star bloody Trek......

Re: Star Trek: Discovery

Well, there are not many Trills on Earth, so I would not worry about it.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery

That isn't anything new though. TOS and TNG had species with no gender. So you can't pretend it is new to the franchise at all.

Not sure you know what that means, if you’re using it that context.
