Well Sky give free 250 gig to new and upgrades on some subscription levels but charge Â£249 for a 1 TB version so they think 750 meg is worth Â£249......

Virgin don't seem so greedy on that basis.

I agree with that.

If it was me I would get the free Sky box and swap the drive.

I can't figure out any other difference other than disable the 10 Meg BB but that would limit their ability to make money from aps and remove a great unique selling point.

The iPad is a brilliant bit of kit and that feature from TIVO would be welcomed by all iPad owners.
