I've come down with some viral thing, been ordered to have 72 hours bed rest.

A old boss I worked for 1989 to 1997, died on Saturday morning.

I still remember doing 16 hour days for 17 days on the trot, I ended up in A&E after collapsing from exhaustion, on my 71st hour overtime. He cleared 100 hours, which he didn't get paid for.

Sorry to hear this Den but I don't think nobody would want someone to suffer any more than they have to. He's out of pain now and although there'll be a lot of grief, in time that will pass and be replaced with happier memories. That's what I'm sure anyone would want.

Thanks everybody for your condolences as yes its incredibly sad that he has passed away for us and for his family as it all just happened so quickly from the diagnosis of his terminal illness to his sad passing although praise be to god he is not suffering anymore.

Went to the dreaded dentist this morning and alas 2 injections and two fillings later l feel numbed up to the eyeballs.

Not allowed to see my Mum for 48 hours :( as the hospital said that I can not say for certain that my sickness is due to my Crohns and they simply can't take the risk of infection. Wish I was not sick at the hospital yesterday but I was and a nurse witnessed it so I was not even allowed go back in the ward to say bye to my Mum.

I have to wait till Friday to see my Mum :(

That sucks weenie, although the reasons are good for you not being allowed in, it still sucks. Hope you recover soon.
