Spoke to Customer Care (Billing) this morning - they now tell me that the £10 is already taken care of in a 'package discount' I have - but I don't know if this is the case or not. As the discount doesn't say what it covers, just that it covers BB/TV/Phone, it's difficult to see how this is broken down and if, indeed, the £10 is covered. I'm still not really happy - the discount is about £34 altogether, does anyone else have a similar billing - if so, do you also have the £10 V+ charge listed?

Also I have just noticed (not sure how long it's been on) that I've got both Talk Mobile and Talk International which I never asked for! Looks like I'll have to call them again!

Like others who already had multi-room and missed out on the £6.50 being waived, would like to see what they're going to offer instead?

Really think they need to sort their billing out to make everything clear.

Virgins billing systems are a absolute joke as far as l am concerned.:(:(

Only a small number of people have been offered to keep their old V+ without the multiroom charge. This is unlikely to happen for all multiroom customers - just think of the revenue that Virgin Media would lose (although it would be a good differentiator from Sky).

Not on VIP - only Triple XL - Wouldn't it be easier if Virgin had standard charges for packages, so you knew exactly where you stood?

Actually you are probably on 'XL Plus' which is the same the VIP bundle without the Sports and Movies.

Virgin have now chaned the bundles so that the V+ pricing for anyone that now goes onto VIP or XL Plus with the V+ is the same as if you went for a lower bundle - however because the £10 isn't then charged, the discount is £10 less than you get keeping the overall price of the bundle the same

On that we do agree.

maybe you could go onto the VM 'build your own bundle' site, add in all that you have and see how that price compares to what you are paying?

Cheers for that, Passingbat - have just done that and it looks like I'm paying about the right amount. Now to tackle them over the Mobile/International add ons that I didn't ask for!

I have never officially been told I'm on XL Plus (or chosen to be on it) but, according to my bill it looks like I'm being charged £3.50 for International/Mobile. As I never make international calls and hardly ever call mobiles on my landline, this isn't something I need - or want to pay for. Can anyone answer the question: If I remove these from my services, will someone then tell me that I lose some discount or can I actually save myself £3.50 per month?

If they are part of XL Plus, then you can't remove them without changing your bundle, if you are not on XL Plus then you can just remove them and you'll save £3.50 pm

Sounds like another call to Customer Care to look at alternative bundles!
