True Movies will be free for all Virgin TV customers until January 10th 2010, after previously only being available to XL TV customers.

As a new VM subscriber I just noticed that searching the online TV guide at virginmedia.com gives results for Sky 1 HD, Sky Movies HD etc -- has this always been the case? I thought it was probably just VM hooking into Sky's guide data and not filtering the results properly, but then I thought there might be a chance that the Sky HD channels might be coming soon?

....that's always been the case. If they come, then it won't be until Spring at the very earliest.

How many times can one vote?
How many candidates can one vote for?
Now that the Afghanistan election run-off is cancelled, will the UN monitors be free to oversee this election?

Got my free 3D glasses from Sainsbury's today. All set for C4 next week.

Are there any other 3D programmes coming to VM? Any On Demand content available yet?

Yes, they're the same ColorCode 3-D glasses right down to the patent numbers.

See Channel 4's 3D Week for more details.

You can only vote once.

I have no UN monitors only me.

(They costs houses and duck house to buy them.)

That reminds me, I must dredge my moat! (By which I mean clean out my gutters which are overflowing.)

From reviewing the original post linking to Electric Magazine and some other research, I am expecting selected programming in 3D on some or all of the various Channel 4s: C4 (S4C), Film4, More4, E4, 4Music, T4 during this week as well as in TV Choice On Demand > What We're Watching from Tuesday 17th.

Is it me or is there less information on the EPG of late? Episode titles are missing for series, films don't have the lead actors and production year listed. What's going on? If anything, I would hope that more information would be available on the i button these days with scrolling of the information box for extra details.

A few years ago when I complained to VM that the i button text was being truncated they said that it came that way from the EPG supplier and they had no control over it.

Is there a better thread to discuss this in? The Search facility doesn't like short phrases like EPG or 3D.
