Some yellow label bargains from Sainsbury's this afternoon: 2.5Kg Maris Piper spuds for 89p. 1.6Kg outdoor bred pork shoulder. Was £9.79 mine for £4.60. That'll go in the freezer for some future time. 1.15Kg Hereford beef Silverside was £8.85. Mine for £4.40. That's our Sunday roast sorted. I'll pot roast slow cook for extra succulence. :)

Funny how the human mind seems to switch on dramatically when the bargains start to appear in front of their eyes as we use some online sites several times throughout the year and Kezie has Fish and Seafood half price ATM and we all know how pricey fish can be so we ordered some items not surprisingly.:)

Will have to eventually when the paper expires unfortunately or if you ever move house.

Not sure we can use them when driving overseas.

The paper one expires when you are 70 IIRC.

So much stuff can be frozen it's silly not to take advantage of discounts when they're available. Make your freezer work for your wallet.

An excessive amount of beer and curry.

Oops, hold on - that’s in an hour or so....:D

A folding beach chair in anticipation of the warm weather that's supposed to be on the way, and a telescopic ladder that will at least still be useful when said weather doesn't materialise.

This might seem strange but I bought 6 bottles of vinegar. 6 Bicarbonate soda, 6 packets of salt. Now you can guess what for,!!! I had drain flies and environmental health informed me to put these down the drain. So far so good, doing it twice a day. Any mor suggestions would be helpful .

A clean drain is preferable. The vinegar and bicarb will make CO2 gas, the salt won't do much.

Mine from a couple of years ago failed on first use. There is a rectangle of plastic in the workings that bends and the lever jams.

Trouser braces. I've got to that shape where I have no waist to hold my pants up with a belt...

Still £3.19 for the exact same type and brand as Debenhams sell for £22 is a bargain...
