Spotted that too? Seems crazy. Could this be a sign that the HD versions will be available at no extra cost for Sports/movies subscribers on the XL pack or am I being overly optimistic?

that might sound good for VIP but not changing the price whilst being on XL yet reducing it for every one else seems a bit strange.

Sorry but why, the number of times its been said that pricing is confusing, this just makes it simple. These SKY channels are extras. The cost should be the same across the board surely ?:shrug:

More like VM have been absorbing cost and running at a lose for those on the XL pack.

It would be good if XL customers get the premium channels in HD for no extra cost, those on lesser packages have to pay extra.

because if i want sky sports where the incentive to pay more for the larger tv package when its the same price if took the smallest basic one Virgin do (ill still be getting them next month just though us on XL would have got the bundle for all 4 reduced by at least a couple of quid)

It is more likely that people may take them up now who are not on XL. brings the pricing more in line with Sky's own pricing.

but surly as VM isnt a content provider now and just a carrier it would be better to give customers new and old an incentive to get the XL if they are mainly intrested in Sky sports?

like ive said before though im not that fussed as didnt mind paying the £20.50 a month and even better now we get the red button.

The XL pack already has more then enough incentive, ESPN, more HD, TV Choice, Music OD, more channels. Sky premium channels have always been low take up on cable compared to satellite this may help to rebalance the issue.

Well i think its wrong that im on the VIP Pack with the Full channels packs and im still going to pay £27.50 for Movies and Sports its wrong so not a happy bunny.
