There is one in Nepal where one end is a 4000ft drop the other end is a mountian.

you mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenzing-Hillary_Airport by any chance Hom3r?

I would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER go to that airport.

and Kymmy, you sure it was a crash, I think the gov just withdrew the funding for that tornado :(

glad that the pilots did get out of it and wonder what the cause is.

you would've thought the '16 pilot would try to take off before the b1 or even just get the hell outta his way.

Think the '16 does handle well as it does stay on its wing after the take offs and I bet you that pilot has lost its wings or part of rank or his new nickname changed to wingtip.

More Chinooks going back and forth followingthe east west line of the Chilterns just as it crosses the A6 north of Luton. Seen at least 4 in the last couple of days

Not long after that a Apache longbow went low over the village on a bearing of about 290

You can just imagine the effects of one of them having to abort :(

Just love the way the ground wheels rotate before finally retracting on the b52's
