For a phone which could have been so much better....it has not impressed me from what I've seen so far. Apple have made no attempt to hide they favour the US market when it comes to features, Nokia is more global. They get my vote.

I've had a 3g phone, my gf has and also our company uses 3g phones, all have videoing capability but across all of these none have used it. I guess apple actually looked at the usage and thought why bother. I've only ever seen video calling demoed twice , once when it was first launched and it was rubbish, the the 2nd time was you on a link to the first forum meet up in Manchester and that was hardly worth doing.

I *used the camera on my iphone for emailing pix and they were fine. When I want to take a picture of something I use my 10mp camera.

Almost the best thing about the iphone for me was the package it was one. I'm really looking forward to getting one again and having the new version and software. Using a good 'normal' phone (sony k850i) just is not cutting it.

Not suprisingly iPhone 2.0 has already been cracked, on the original iPhone. The 3G version hasn't been cracked yet, but probably won't be long.

If your k850 is unlocked I'm interested in it when you get the iPhone :)

Unfortunatly it is Claires and probably is locked to O2. It will no doubt be promoted to spare phone number 1.

Just a quick note for you iPhone 2.0 users regarding entering domain names. In the original firmware there was a handy ".com" button when entering URLs, but you had to manually type ".org" and ".net" and ".co.uk" and other domain suffixes. Now, though, you simply hold down the ".com" button and presto, you're offered the above mentioned options as one-click entries. Why this was a priority on Apple's iPhone to-do list and cut-and-paste wasn't is puzzling, but we're still glad it's there.

I think its a useful thing sosages...though I agree that it shouldn't have been important...more useful would have been A2DP or Cut/Paste...
