Yes none of them are truly world class.

no they are. Carrick is underrated, Fellaini is coming into the game and Kagawa was named the best player in the Bundesliga.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

Kagawa is totally wasted playing out on the wing, which is where he keeps on being played. I still think he will be one of the best midfielders in the league if he gets played in the right position.

Sunderland have essentially done exactly what QPR done last year. Spent loads with no return. May be early days but I'd be worried. We're in no better position ourselves. Our defence is non existent.

I don't think there's any shame in the way your team played today. We may have won but it was another display of how immobile and porous our midfield has become. Take Sturridge out of that game today and Sunderland would be looking at the point or maybe all three.

The table flatters to deceive right now.

I would like to bring a subject on this section of the forum concerning any comments regarding the FA's decision to curb the 'Y' Word, which basically effect Spurs fans.

I have been a lifelong fan of Spurs, and up till 15 years ago l was actually chanting that word at Spurs games. When l joined my recent job l was banned from using that word and now call them either Spurs or Lillywhites.

The FA have decided along with the police to arrest/ ban any fan if they can catch them at WHL or outside the ground.Shouting this word

Spurs have now stated that they will ban any fan that uses this word if used out of character.

I was watching a programme this evening on the Jewish community and the Y Word was used.

Where do we draw the line - any comments.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

I don't think it should be used. Theres just no need for it. There are other ways in which the Jewish link at Tottenham can be embraced. And I call Tottenham a bunch of cocks because they have a cock on the basketball :)

Rafa and Jose are as bad as eachother for always trying to get a dig in, and have the last word as well. He's just given the press another story about himself as well by leaving early. Everything he says or does has a reason, and the press can't stop writing about him. He loves it as much as they do. Anyway, My fantasy football teams need an Everton clean sheet tonight, along with some goals for Baines and Barclay.

Great result. Really though it's one we needed given the context of the group. We're still one loss away from being level on points with Napoli and Dortmund. We now have Dortmund next and need to share the spoils over the two games...

The points. Either win one of them or draw both or better.

6pts :D its realistic. if we can perform like that at home then considering our current away form...

Theo, Santi and Pod should all be back in time for Dortmund at home... in time for the tough run of games coming

He should be shown the door but it was ok to try and bring Suarez to the club? Double standards if that happens

Can't really argue against that. At the time however he seemed the last option during a depressing summer and we probably lost sight of all else. My thinking at the time is that you didn't have to like your players....
