The Orville Season 4 is a little closer to happening.
Acording to Seth MacFarlane the scripts are all written.
Its now a matter of when they will have time to make them.

I will be honest with you: Season four is written. It's just a question of when we have the time to produce it. The 10 scripts are done.
I'm the problem. It's when I can make that my year, with all the other stuff we have in the works. But we can hit the ground running when it happens.

While not officially cancelled, it seems unlikely there will be a Season 3 of Ted.
Showrunners Brad Walsh and Paul Corrigan noted "There’s no plan that I’ve heard of at the moment to do Season 3.".

The end of Season 2 pretty much wrapped it up and set it on the road to tie back to the movies, with the narrator even referencing the movies and what happens in them. So it's clearly they only planned it to go this far.

CBS is cutting back the episode count on some of its renewed shows.

Fire Country and Matlock will have 13 episode seasons.
NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney will have 10 episode seasons.

They do have some new shows coming;
Einstein (midseason) will have 13 episodes.
Eternally Yours, Cupertino and NCIS: New York will be 20 episodes.

High Potential Season 3 has been put back until January 2027, when it will then run until May 2027, potentially 18 episodes again, but this is unconfirmed.

It looks rather OTT. could be more interesting than Stu just running his comic store.
