The next phase of TiVo will probably be underway and testing soon so it would make more sense to add in the pq fix to that software rather than try to get it done first and release it, as that could have an effect on what they might already be working on. |

However, it's the testing that takes most of the time, not the coding. |

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
As this product is new to virgin there is bound to be major bugs and issues with customers, which will be worked on straight away, come a years time most issues will probably have been sorted and only minor issues will be the problem, in most cases its better the public raise the issues as they are the ones that create the real time scenarios.

Plus, no matter how rigorously tested a piece of software is, you can guarantee that as soon as it's released into the wild someone will find a way to break it that hadn't been foreseen.

Got the installers here now as I speak, 2 of them turned up to do it. Just on the initial screens so hopefully all will be up and running soon.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Been up and running for about an hour and from what I can tell, all guide data has been downloaded and it's all working well. Loving it so far. The best feature for me is the Search all TV - much better than going through the guide to set series links. And the adding time to the start and end is not as long winded as people have made out.
