I'm 99% sure my X1 is dead, I'll try it at my sisters to see if there is a difference there.

The scanners at work. It has been known for months now that they are useless and need replacing, yet they will not spend the money to purchase new equipment. Tight is not even close to describing them.

No Den only paracetamol at night to help him sleep, he was up 3.30 making himself a hot chocolate. If he is no better soon I will make an appointment with the Doc for him.

PS Hope your Dad is keeping better Den.

Yes as we have told our family up the line in that sometimes the elders of the family can be pretty obstinate to say the least Tinky when they are not well so we have told them if you think he needs to see the doc then it is imperative that you take charge and not let the stubborn bugger fob you off and make the appointment for them no matter what he says.

Pah - looks like I now 'HAVE' to have a fistula done. As my line isn't up to the job anymore. I spit in the face of the giant needles that will ensue :)

cheers all, but I don't feel brave. I guess it's just a case of having to do it, no choice!.

There is always a choice involved, making the right choice is the challenge.

So stoically accepting that it has to be done and not running away is a sign of bravery my friend.
