The same sentiment applies across the board.

Certainly not on Netflix. It's Amazon you need to watch.

Apparently, Facebook is also a contender.

Not a chance IMO for the Premier leagues rights.

You have no basis for that statement, Den.

And yours has zero basis as you will find out early in 2018.

And yet the articles keep coming.

With the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, worth more than £70bn and Netflix and
Apple also considering moving into live sports broadcasting, the Premier
League is aware they could be big bidders.

As I've said on a number of occasions, Den, it will either be this or the next bidding round.

What because Ed Woodward and Richard Scudamore say so as l would take what they say with a pinch of salt as you will realise soon enough.

How so? Please explain. You know what happened to King Canute, don't you?

So you say not a chance without any back up links, credit to you for the netflix one btw but netflix was never mentioned, yet myself and OB have provided several links from different sources especially Facebook going for premier league rights and you rubbish it.
So tell me which media company do you work for then as you seem to know more than the press etc.
Come on you can tell us are you MR Branston in disguise, we won't tell honest.

Have you ever tried streamed live football ?

In my experience it's been far more problematic than traditional linear viewing over the likes of satellite and terrestrial.

Tbh i've never had a issue when i stream NBCsn or ESPN, foxsports however is clunky on roku but fine on pc app, they are trying to fix roku app though.

Let's see what the experience is like for the big games with millions trying to stream at once.

How about UHD over broadband what speed will that require ?

Doesn't mean it won't happen, and in any case, there is nothing to stop Amazon from setting up a linear channel if they could not yet resolve the technical problems.

They might go for both options anyway to ensure maximum coverage over the whole country. After all, there are still significant areas of the UK that are not adequately covered or cannot receive the internet at all.
