Same with Appletv it seems you can only get them via third party sellers on Amazon.

If Amazon video is now on Apple TV, why isn't access to apple video available on Amazon TV boxes?

I would buy a few videos off apple, but not prepared to buy an apple box to view them.

Good question but this is Apple we're talking about.

Hey, the first six episodes of 'Game of Thrones' is now available on Now TV.

Happy Christmas, Den, and hopefully this will help in your conversion to OTT streaming services!

Your Christmas should be a very happy one. No more BBC repeats necessary!

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without BBC repeats.

Bless your cotton socks OB as you can try as much as you like but this old chap is not for turning as in our household Linear TV forms a large part of our viewing whilst we dip into streaming now and again and it has been like that for a couple of years now.

:xmas: OB and to everybody else on here.

I don't normally post itunes stuff but anyone fancy home alone in 4k? it's £1.99 on itunes https://itunes.apple.com/gb/movie/ho...ne/id344796733 for me home alone is a classic family Christmas movie.

My bet is that Amazon will win one of the Premiership rights bids.

Not yet clear on whether this will be one of the smaller packages or the big sausage.

If that is the case I'd expect it to come from the share of games BT has rather than Sky's. Just a hunch really. Rather than the demise of BT Sport you might see Amazon Instant Video launching on Youview and agreeing a carriage deal to be included as part of the BT Sports pack.

I agree with you that as a first pitch, Amazon may well go for one of the smaller packages.

Just a reminder to all that Sky's IPTV service is launching next year.

Still no details released about it, but it will be Sky's full tv service (unlike NowTV) streamed over broadband.

It will be interesting to see how that works out. What exactly is "Sky's full tv service"? Will it include the FTA shopping channels and dross available on satellite or will Sky be a little more selective in providing a service where they have more control?

I don't think tvplayer can cope with HD streams a prime example is History HD most of the time it's unwatchable with picture freezes etc
