Cable Forum - TiVo General TiVo Discussion Part 2

I was just interested as to what would happen. On the face of it, a dynamic EPG sounds good and people wonder why it wasn't incorporated into Tivo. I was just thinking of possible downsides, and the one I described could possibly be one?

Well if it can't find a repeat it won't be able to record it. Fairly obvious I would have thought ;)

Or it could record the extra time on programme one and miss that same amount of time at the front of the next one? Same thing that tivo could end up doing if you set padding under the current padding rules! :)

Can't wait to get my TiVo now!! :D How long does all the Catch Up content take to load up? And also, is the TV Choice layout the same e.g with By Channel, Genre etc.

With the TV CHOICE I for one as the same as a few others are having problems, This is due to going in to the A-Z and not been able to scroll past the first page. This has been reported, So waiting for it to be resolved:(
