Just had a complete loss of service for about 8 hours for the first time in 17 months... wonder if its anything to do with Cat C Reseg... I hope so.. it's due to be fixed at the end of the month.. after a *cough* short *cough* 12 months

After a Cat-C reseg (Or indeed any reseg) it is probable that your IP address would change. You could end up on the same UBR and line card but IMO that's against th odds.

Is FTTC not in your list of priorities when looking for a new place?

Yes, but I didnt look for the place, I am staying with a friend who already has Virgin Media 60Mb, and no FTTC availability until October, and as I am working my notice ill be moved in a couple of weeks :(

Well that's a shame. But at least Virgin's 60meg is nearly the same as Sky's 80 meg, right? ...............right?!

My condolences :ghugs:

A couple of nights ago my connection changed away from the 94. range and the latency went back down again. In theory there should be no difference to the IP given but....

Some heavy downloading yesterday afternoon/evening

How can you tell it's 27 days to the fix time, looks like the same day or am I missing something?
