I'd be surprised if they did give up. Regarding their dominance, all they need is one bad season, and that may finish. Don't think it's going to happen anytime soon though.

nah, you remember a few seasons back ferrari started to lose it to mclaren, look what happend since then ;)

Actually, I remember hearing an interview with Murray Walker a while back. They asked him about Ferrari's dominance of F1, and he said it has always happened. A team seems unbeatable for two or three years, then either they make a bad mistake, or the other teams get better and another team dominates for two or three years.

I personally don't think Ferrari would do too well if both Ross Braun and Schuey left (I know nobody has said either is going to leave).

Going on form to date, I can't disagree, however Hockenheim may have been a more level playing field if Raikonnen hadn't had the wing failure and Button had started from 3rd, with the extra fuel ;)

Like Paul, I'll be interested to see what the last third of the season brings, especially as some of the tracks will be hot, which suits Michelin more than Bridgestone :p: - que sera, sera ;)

True, Raikonnen was flying until that happened. I still think Button had the best drive of his career, and possibly was the best driver in the race. He (or the car) didn't seem to have the pace to match Schumacher though.

Should be fun..

tbh - so long as it is, I don't care who wins, Stu, - Shumi pretty much has the championship in the bag, anyway. The encouraging thing is that McClaren & BAR are looking more competitive - I wouldn't be happy if I were Frank Williams, though!

i saw him pre race, he looked well narked took a swipe at ferrari as well, made it look like he was talking in jest but you could see he meant it :erm: :p:

i doubt ross braun will leave, i know him and schumacher have built a telepathic relationship but when schumi retires i doubt ross will go.
