I dont care I want the 7700 laptop or the 7500 Sli system...yes they are overpriced and perhaps a little loud but whats life if you dont enjoy having some overrated system, they rule and I have enjoyed playing on a few of them...time to annoy the bank manager.

Well, unless he ripped the motherboard out, replaced the P4 or A64 one with a P3 board and paid for a slower processor then it ain't a P3.

wtf man...the pc was bought in 1997 :eek: p4 and a64's was still on paper then :rofl: its a old computer hence lower benchmarks and if that is to hard to understand I hope you will appreciate this is going off topic and lets get back to the wallpapers and desktops eh :)

He bought a P4 machine in 1997? Impressive! (considering the actual processor wasn't on the market until 2000). You are of course aware than Alienware were also not distributing PC's in the UK back then?

Just get him to post his 3d Mark score to the Online Results Browser then he can share a URL with his spec (and I'll be able to tell you whether it's a good result for his machine or not)

Huh? I said that I could tell you whether his score was good for his machine, there are countless people on here that could do the same. You were the one that started waxing lyrical about Alienware machines/posting a 3d Mark score from what you claimed to be a P3, I just pointed out a few facts that showed the information you shared was incorrect, there's a difference between being able to use Google and being a "know all".
