Where have you been? It’s been announced for weeks the UK has been supplying military equipment and supplies, there is even our own personnel there training them on its use. Also- The Ukrainians are kicking Russia’s butt here, sure there have been many casualties, civilian ones too, but I’m seeing from people on the ground there, not random folk on social media, but following Kyiv journalists, Ukrainian citizens. Ukraine is putting up a lot of resistance and they even acknowledged the other day, the weapons we supplied them, have helped to destroy Russian hardware. |

His generals may be following his orders atm, but they are not likely to stand for mass murder of their own men. He'd also probably lose the support of some countries backing him atm. China are a friend of Ukraine as well as Russia, so using nukes isnt likely to go down well, even with them. (They are not exactly backing him now, rather treading a kind of neutral line). |

"Sceptical" is fine, but "common sense" is better - re Snake Island, Russia’s story is easily provable (by showing the 82 prisoners); the fact they haven’t done this lends credence to the Ukrainian version… |

Most unwise. Johnson will have the chance to ridicule Starmer on this one. Keeping channels open is better than giving them an excuse to chuck out our diplomatic team in Moscow. |
