Lovely! I wonder where they will be tomorrow. Why not release the channel numbers to the Radio Times etc and then put them somewhere else entirely after the first day. Virgin are doing a great job this week.

Oh wow, VM actually listened! That's so much easier for viewers having them on these logical channel numbers.

And the Radio Times this week is also correct. As this week s edition went to print last week I can only assume the moving Eurosport channels was already planned last week.

But why move them instead of starting them on the intended slots in the first place

They may have decided the easiest thing was to copy the last Olympics as it was "in the system" and they could just flick a switch. They may have also thought the other channels would be annoyed about being leapt over and thought it was safer not to P them off. Then later consulted and amended the positions.

I didn't realise the gap was big enough, at a glance, to fit in 3/4/5. Not impossible someone at VM didn't realise immediately either.

I still think Virgin move temporary Winter Olympics was down to a following:

-Liberty Global own 50% of Virgin Media O2.
-Liberty Global and Discovery own All3Media.
-Liberty Global owner (Wiki says that) John C. Malone is also on a Board of Directors of Discovery Inc. - https://corporate.discovery.com/our-company/leadership/
-BT and Discovery are in talks to merge - where did Eurosport UHD end up? beside BT Sport UHD Channel.

I doubt that. It's more likely to be associated with the 'free channels for all' month. The kids channels are not listed in this article, although clearly the list is not comprehensive because it originally referred to 'over 20 channels', but only listed 18.

Probably for mid term breaks.

It only listed 18 of 20 but SAB was opened too and wasn't in the list - so there may be another somewhere.
