I'm sick and tired of seeing/hearing Stephen Fry - he's verging on being omnipresent. At least Evans has a keen interest in cars and it'll be interesting to see how different it is on his watch.

It's a bit obvious though isn't it? I wouldn't be suprised if the other hosts are Clare Balding and Gary Linaker.

Knowing the BBC there will all manner of boxes needing ticked so definitely a female presenter but number three will be non white I'd imagine.

I know he loves his cars and owns a lot of very good classic cars.

I like his presenting style so it may be ok.

If they try to do topgear with him I think it will fail. but if they try something different then it might work.

I know not everyone liked JC but his presenting style was what made the show coupled with the other 2 along side him.

If Chris Evans tries to pull off the same style I think it will flop. I guess time will tell but I don't think the show will pick up properly until his 2nd season of filming as people need time to adjust to the show

I think the first episode will get huge viewers merely because of intrigue, then I reckon it'll bomb. Clarkson and Co are heading for Netflix
