I have said this before and will say it again, On this forum we are 'freely' allowed to talk about SKY and VM, l have both systems.

Freesat on Sky and the full package on VM, HOWEVER, The channels that are 'paid for' ie Sky Sports etc, and I disagree with the fact of this now argument about BT Sports adverts on Sky sports.

This is nothing more than childish behaviour from Sky, BUT l would be prepared to pay extra for the channels, as at the end of the day ITS OUR choice, and VM should not interfere with its subscribers.

You would be prepared to pay more Arthur for Atlantic, but what about those who don't want Atlantic? Should we have to pay more for a channel we don't want?

Assuming you are talking about Atlantic anyway.

I feel we should be given the option of having Sky Atlantic - those that want it pay more a la Sky Sports & Movies, BoxNation etc

In that case, fine. Add it as a premium channel, so those who want it pay for it and those who don't want it don't pay for it.

So why doesn't the same apply to those who have had ESPN free on XL for the last couple of years?

ESPN is an extra charge premium channel on Sky; Atlantic isn't.

Any subscription TV service is a bit of give and take with regards to channels you like and those you don't. Some people seem to have a very selfish attitude and only want the ones they watch included in the overall price.

Actually, if you get your facts right you will find that Sky offered VM Atlantic but Virgin would not pay the price

Actually the problem is John is that Sky were asking for a astronomical carriage fee which no sane company would pay unless they are idiots.
