I was told by an insider in January 2012 that Channel 5 +1 was set to launch on Virgin TV by April 2012.

But I have not seen anything on any new channels coming in the last two months.

While I do use the +1 channels quite a lot I'm personally not losing any sleep over the lack of Channel 5+1 as I honestly can't even remember the last time I watched anything on Channel 5 (it was probably Major League Baseball which shows just how long ago it was).

Why all the clamber over new channels? what are you wanting exactly? imo there's far too many +this and +that ***** as there is, we should be asking for quality not quantity, i'd like to see us getting all the sports channels in HD and would also like Sky Atlantic, i'm pretty sure the majority of viewers only watch a handful of channels as it is.

I would love too see the Universal HD channel come VM, I think the channel front has been rather quiet lately but I suppose they are concerating on the BB speed uplift.
