Yes, March I think, so they finish in the May sweeps.

its likely that sg1 and atlantis will be shown on sky1 before 2007 so u wont have to wait that long for your new episodes.

also its possible a canadian hd channel will show it before then as well

For the last couple of years, Sky have started showing them around November, and then had a 3 or 4 week break over Christmas :)

Sky have never been in front of the US - they timed it last year so that they caught up (i.e the later episodes were shown here a few days after their US Friday night appearance) the same will most likely happen again this year.

Indeed, they did that for Atlantis last year, so we caught them way ahead of both the UK and the US. They didn't show SG1 though.

Thats not true, the second halves of season 6,7 and 8 where all shown in the UK 1 week in advance of the Americans. Though the first half of each of those seasons where shown in the states several months in advance of the UK.

Fair enough, I was only really meaning last season, I don't remember the details as far back as 2004/3/2. :)

They are re-issuing Star Trek:ToS, upgraded from 35mm to Hi-Def, with updated special effects.

The strap line at the end is classic - "When the ship hits the fans" :)

Something that I've been thinking about re Stargate SG-1 season 10:

Spoiler:
The Ori:

OK, so they have a Supergate, or perhaps Supergates, to send their battlecruisers through from their galaxy to the Milky Way. Fair enough.

But... why the hell don't they just send a load of ships from their galaxy to ours via hyperspace?

I mean, surely they have the technology.

They're pretty equivalent to the Ancients, & the Ancients originally travelled from their home galaxy (which is also the Ori home galaxy) to the Milky Way, via ship(s) with intergalactic hyperdrives, millions of years ago, & then went from the Milky Way to Pegasus via Atlantis & its intergalactic drive.

Hell, even the Asgard, who aren't at the level of the Ancients & Ori, have got ships capable of intergalactic travel, & can easily travel from their galaxy to the Milky Way & back. And they have also given this tech to the SGC to use in the Daedalus-class ships, so now even humans can travel via hyperspace from one galaxy to another.

Or am I just thinking about this too much?

I believe the explanation is....
Spoiler:
The Ori galaxy is supposedly so far away that even with intergalactic hyperdrives as advanced as the Ori can build it would still take months or even years to travel the great distance required.
I think it is also down to the fact that Ori battleships can only be produced by primative humans, so allthough it is possible for them to build such a thing as an intergalactic drive it is actually simpler to use an intergalactic gate instead.

from what i can make out SG Atlantis S03E11 will air in Canada on Movie Central on 23rd of October.
SG-1 S10E11 will most likely air on 3rd of January on Sky One in UK.

We will have 5 more eps of SGA from Canada this year, and the last 5 of season 3 in January and the second part of SG-1 S10 from January till March from UK
