American Pie: Reunion - 9/10

One of the best films I've seen in a long time. It'll never win an Oscar but considering the franchise is 13 years old it keeps the tone of the series with the right amount of 'moving on'.

It tied up all loose ends and ended the right way, especially for Stiffler ;)

They should not take this series any further now.

Oh and if you saw the original when it came out, it will make you feel OLD....:)

PS, hang on a few seconds after the credits begin...

Frankenstein (National Theatre Live recording of the 2011 play)

Adapted by Nick Dear from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and directed by Danny Boyle.

Absolutely bloody excellent, with a top-notch cast headed up by Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller.

During the stage run at the National Theatre last year, Cumberbatch and Miller alternated the main roles: Frankenstein and the Creature.

The recording Mrs D and I saw tonight at our local Arts Picturehouse had Cumberbatch as Frankenstein and Miller as the Creature. They were both excellent. I wish we'd been able to also see them in the opposite roles.

10/10

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

9/10

Great reboot to the franchise and Andrew Garfield is brilliant in the role and a much better choice than Tobey Macguire.

Loved everything about it.

Ghost Rider : Spirit of Vengeance 3D 3/10
Didn't enjoy at all, terrible acting and generally rubbish all round. 3D aspect wasn't too bad though.

Final Destination 5 3D: 7.5/10

This one is much better than the last two and actually has a good script. Some nice jokes, good character moments and a twist about an alternative way to cheat death....
The Bridge-collapse sequence is really amazing in 3D,edge-of-your-seat stuff...:erm:

It's not worth the time to comment on it. 2/10.

The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. Purely because it has Sandra in it, 10 out of 10. If I was being unbiased about it, probably more like a 6 or 7 out of 10.

The amazing spider man 4/10 nowhere near amazing to say the least and 3D rather pointless, best part the Stan Lee cameo.
