Well that's not strictly true since I have 2 x 1TB ones at the moment and I know several others with the same. Maybe though there's less of the 500 ones about so they are limiting them to 1per household - which may mean that if you have one of either size they're not letting you have a second in the 500 version?

Same here

Why won,t they let us purchase another box even though it is the smaller box, can,t Virgin plan and deliver anything properly and on time.

I suspect the CS person got it wrong and you can have 2 Tivos. Sadly, CS giving out wrong information is way too common.

These days, before I change any of my VM services, I check out the forums to see what the 'right' answer is before phoning CS, so i can put them right if necessary.

I checked on here that it was possible to have 2 tivos before I ordered.

Yes it is very common when you get one of their foreign call centre staff.

Don't know - and it could just be misinformation on the part of the CS agent that dealt with the call asking for a 500 in addition to the 1TB. I'm just commenting on a possible explanation - I have no knowledge if this is the case.

In my experience, they don't have to be foreign!

I have found Manila to be the best call centers, really professional and coherent.

That is very well said:) As if all the staff are briefed, Kept up to date and monitored every so often they would all be able to give out the same info.

I have worked in a call centre and the amount of people who gave out the wrong info was just wrong and they put it in their notes, So when I was part of the complaints team we reported them. IMHO This is what seems to be lacking:D

You can, just sounds like someone got their info wrong at the callcentre. Try again.
