Recording loads of stuff from Sky Movies HD fills up the disk space pretty quickly as well. I'm building up quite a nice library of films here. :)

It would be handy to keep just the section of the programme I was on rather than the whole thing.

I can see there would not be a widespread demand for the feature though.

Well, I'm intrigued (or just nosey- take your pick;)). What sort of programmes do you appear on?

Also I was told that the box would cost £99 activation as I already have one (plus the £40 install which I expected). Can anyone give any more info on the cost of the smaller TiVo when this is a second box.*

The activation fee for existing users is supposed to be £49 + £40 install and I believe that the £3 per month is by account not each box.

Perhaps one of the VM staffers could confirm?

The monthly fee is per account for definate

The briefs say the the first 500GB TiVo would cost £49.95 and further 500GB cost £99.95 (Plus install). It's not exactly clear the situation if you already have a 1TB TiVo as to which price applies.

Mainly live and pre-recorded interviews on news and consumer affairs programmes - nothing too interesting i'm afraid! :)

I'd ring again. I had 2 1TB Tivos installed with no problem.

Did you have free installation on both of your tivo boxes.

Yes. Pretty much why I decided to replace both V+ boxes at the same time as I knew I'd end up replacing the bedroom one fairly soon anyway.

Well that's not strictly true since I have 2 x 1TB ones at the moment and I know several others with the same. Maybe though there's less of the 500 ones about so they are limiting them to 1per household - which may mean that if you have one of either size they're not letting you have a second in the 500 version?
