3-1 down now.

Chelski were obviously desperate to win this as they put a full strength side out.

No Lallana, Ramirez or Lambert in our team. The Prem is more important.

Still not a excuse for the poor performance of the last 30 minutes Julian.

I'd rather he had put a complete second string side out than get anyone injured like just happened.

Losing 5-1 won't do much for Southampton's confidence Julian.

He's the answer, couldn't get near the team last time round and after seeing his performance today he'll struggle again to

I'm expecting it won't make any difference as it was a cup match.

The early stages have been treated as an irrelavance by many Prem sides over the years.

With that out of the way we can concentrate on the Prem. :)

Well lets not make a judgement TD before he's signed as the time to make a judgement is in a couple of years.

No it isn't, uninspired signings deserve criticism imo

You obviously don't rate him then TD but one suspects he will do more then Joe Cole ever did for Liverpool.:)

I sometimes wonder if commentators even know what they are saying

West Ham vs Man Utd, after 5 minutes, remarks, "looks like the pattern has been set for the match". after 5 minutes?

How many games have i watched where i was sure the pattern was set after 5 minutes.
