They are not allowed to draw a backbencher’s salary, pension and receieve other grants as they do not attend the House so you seem to be misinformed here. Let me ask you this: if you got a job at a new company and were sent the company standards e.g. dress code, protocols, etc. and you turned up in a tee shirt & shorts, went to your desk and played loud music all day, doing no work, would the company have a case that you are not doing the job you are being paid to do? |
