Scissor kick at the edge of the box from a 6ft 6 centre half. Not bad.

Terrible marking from QPR though.

No it was a corner that QPR failed to deal with. The ball deflected back out of Downing after a header was blocked and it sat up for Coates, unmarked at the edge of the box who hit a perfect 10 scissor kick and smashed it into the roof of the net... I think the last centre-half I saw attempt that was Mario Yepes.

And in the space of me typing that it's 2-0, Kuyt tap-in.
