Re: Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday
May has already stated they are a package deal, if they truly want them back maybe they give into public pressure and offer Clarkson back his job.

JC could come back as The Stig then the BBC wouldn't know....

No? Nor was I, therefore I don't care. I like watching top gear with him in it. Staff issues aren't my concern. If the BBC want me, and I assume millions others, to continue watching it then have him in it. How they reconcile their employment issues is up to them. But I don't think they will, so I won't be watching it in the future. |

The fact 'you like him' is no defence at all. |
Re: Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday
Its the second assault hes been involved in. The first was when he broke Piers Morgans nose at an award ceremony when Morgan was editor of the mirror and kept sending reporters after Clarkson stating hes having an affair.

Plus, I'm not suggesting he " get away with it". But not getting away with it, doesn't necessarily mean dismissal. Quote:

And reading the diaries of Morgan, he happily admits in print he goaded Jeremy. So that would also negate an assault charge possibly, as he was provoked into hitting Piers. I'd also love the chance to knock that smug look off his face.

Re: Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday
Although Chris Evans is a good presenter, i dont think Top Gear is for him.
It would be interesting to see someone like Stephen Fry host. |
