Cool bud. My post wasn't really directly at you, even thought I quoted your line, it was more a general statement regarding what feels like an endless SKY Vs. Virgin agenda that seems to be behind most posts these days.

Anyways it's all good now. Bitch fit over :D I'm back from work and in my onsie. Stress levels are dropping and my ability to enjoy the Coming Soon thread banter is returning.

But immaterial..Virgin fan boys will only ever want Virgin..sky fans want sky.

I want the provider who gives me want I want, at the price I want..Sky at the moment ticks that box (as i have had virgin broadband, and it isn't worth the money). But up to each to choose

Fair enough, my point was if SA is so good why are there only 3/4 shows you recommend, when many other channels offer a similar amount of shows and are readily available on most providers? (not just VM:rolleyes:)

How was I being a "fan boy?" I was simply pointing out I am glad VM are not putting my prices up for this channel alone. Am happy to pay extra for all the recent arrivals that others may watch more than me, but if I had to pay £1, £2 or £3 extra just for Atlantic, I would not be happy. I did also say I agree that people should be to pay a subscription for Atlantic, if they want it, something VM have failed to offer it's customers. So I refer you back to my original question - How was I being a "fan boy?":confused:

I sense from a few of your posts you are trying to be a bit of a wind up merchant.

You are correct abut the provider though. VM offer the better option for me.

Can't see why tv can not be run like gas company's they all get from same source and customers choose who provides them, fairer and everybody would be a winner.this channel or series exclusive to 1 provider is very unfair and is constantly abused
This is not necessary`s sky fault its the system that is set up and not controlled properly so companys /providers are allowed to do as they wish

That would be lovely, and hopefully people will follow Ricky Gervais and sell rights (Derek) to Netflix and other similar providers in the future.

I'm puzzled, when did on comment on you? Or is it some defensive mechnism

Ok caught up. (had to hop back a few threads)

you viewed the one or two comments I made about SA, as being exclusively the reason to choose sky...wrong assumption.

what I said was i wouldn't choose virgin while they don't have it...as their package for tv isn't worth it (atlantic is missing).

Noting the balance question. But understandable you being confused.

And caught up again. you viewed my comment to chad, about his comment, as exclusively for you.

You really think i am commenting to just you? Perhaps better if you concentrate on your own threads and comments, be less confusing for you.

Further caught up.. my original comment was on the "Why Atlantic to maggies comment re fox".

Brother, now I'm worried about you..straight jacket time I think, can I help you with putting it on? :)

Yup, that's what I did when I saw your reply to my post (as I do every time I have missed a days worth of writing on here). At least I had the decency to be polite, ask a civil question and even agree with a point you made

You viewed the one or two comments I made about SA, as being exclusively the reason to choose sky...wrong assumption.

No, I did not. I simply pointed out that SA should offer more than 3/4 programs for the channel to be considered the extra cost it may or may not cost VM

what I said was i wouldn't choose virgin while they don't have it...as their package for tv isn't worth it (atlantic is missing).

I am pretty sure you originally said it was due to the broadband not being worth the money, but I am happy to be corrected, fyi, I actually agreed with your point on content providers, please read my posts properly.

Noting the balance question. But understandable you being confused.

Do you mean my asking you to explain your comments on me being a VM fan boy? If you don't have the decency to answer a valid question (clearly you are not intelligent enough to do so) Perhaps you can explain why I am confused?

And caught up again. you viewed my comment to chad, about his comment, as exclusively for you.

Nope, not your comment to Chad, just the mention of various VM "fanboys" when they are actually few and far between. Nearly all the posters on here are very balanced, many Sky owners ( including MM and Chad) are very fair as are Dave42 and Denphone

You really think i am commenting to just you? Perhaps better if you concentrate on your own threads and comments, be less confusing for you.

When you quote in a post and respond directly to that post, yes, I think you are commenting to me. I do believe I am also able to comment on other posts from other posters on this forum, that is what it is for.

Further caught up.. my original comment was on the "Why Atlantic to maggies comment re fox".

I genuinely do not know why you have bought this up, I have not referenced it at all in any of my posts to you

Brother, now I'm worried about you..straight jacket time I think, can I help you with putting it on? :)

Please do, it would be nice to get some time off work:)

I am not sure why you have chosen to respond the way you have to my response. I thought I asked a fair question in which I gave you the option to respond intelligently. Instead you have chosen to respond rather petulantly, perhaps you do not like being challenged? Anyway I do not come on here to engage in this tit-for-tat. I look forward to your response, but I will not respond to you on this topic (unless you give me an intelligent response with valid questions)[QUOTE]

Nowt yet, mate! Hopefully, in the meantime, we can look forward to a big pile of poo channels coming onto our TV screens. I'd rather watch that than all these new shopping channels coming soon; a big pile of poo!:D

tell us how they can when sky wont let anyone have that channel it like saying sky should offer vm's 100MB broadband from sky they can't

I've just seen on the VM Facebook many posts regarding Premier Sports, now surely this rings alarm bells in 'content acquisitions' head saying "we are more likely to get Premier Sports over Sky Atlantic so lets stop playing hardball with them and understand the wants of our customers"

Some of the posters on here would do a better job of running the 'content acquisitions' department *facepalm*

Here's a question for you all and i may be really stupid asking it:

Why are people with sky television coming onto a website entitled "cableform" and making bitter and nonsencial posts about sky tv being better? I've come onto this thread to see what's coming new and just see nasty and childish attacks by people with sky television???

Do we really have nothing better to do but go on the "rivals" forum and post how my tv is better than yours? It's really childish. I don't go onto digitalspy forums as it's open to such attacks but this is THE CABLE FORUM forum and i know people are free to do whatever they want on the internet but really, really do sky customers not have anything better to do in their lives than post long attacks to VM customers? It's laughable it really is.

In terms of coming soon i see nothing of note due to laughable sky tv customers rant....

Maybe sky tv customers you could go on the sky forum or if you want to stay on this forum as you're bored or made friends on here perhaps we can talk about CABLE TV rather than this back and forth bore.

i have cable tv. i will not change to sky. i do not want sky. whatever you say and shout at me as you frantically bash on your keyboard will not make me change.

Do we have any idea on those Sky basic HD channels or no further info?

Possibly but could they run a business?
