A fantastic achievement especially when you consider that in 1996(Atlanta) we only won 1 gold medal and as recently as 2004 (Athens) we only won 9

Yes absolutely wonderful and our final tally of medals is a amazing 65 medals.

My only regret is that I couldn't volunteer to help :( Would have loved to do so.

Apparently they get to keep the uniform..I think the young ladies in the stadia with the long sashes will have got the best bargain there.;)

I was a fan of the Olympics since before London put in the bid and after everything I've seen these last 7 years I'm still a fan.
