All I know that this time is Living +2 will be close by Sky after takeover (So that Living HD can launch on Sky Digital).

I think we will see Virgin moving Channels about again.

I wouldn't hold your breath. You don't get anything but the free to air HD channels on M+, so I doubt they will give you free Sky 1HD. Sky 1HD would be on a par with the other channels free on XL.

i'd say a snowballs chance in hell of SKY1hd appearing on anything below XL for free.

Maybe for a subscription fee.

Hi, if Sky 1HD is free it will be on the XL pack there no chance of it been on the M+ pack.

Its all gone very quiet on here..Ive just been on to cs about upgrading my package to include the sky movies channel and i asked if the sky movies HD channels will be included in the xl tv package.
They wont it will cost ME £19.50 to add them i also said when are they likely to arrive on virgin and she said sometime this month???? :)

Please note its not my fault if they dont arrive this month BUT thats what the lady said to me on the phone.:erm:

I believe thats the standard price for the currently available SD Sky Movies Channels, you sound surprised by them asking for £19.50/month?

As far as I know, there are no prices yet for the HD versions but I'm sure there will be an update soon through the official routes

Seeing as the SD ones are not in the XL pack it is a good indication that the HD ones will not be in that either.

GMTV Name To Be Dropped

ITV have announced plans to drop the GMTV name and brand, spending up to £1.5m on a relaunch of the morning flagship show.

New name is unknown.

I think it will be called ITV Breakfast.

I can not confrim the £19.50 price at this time. (I have not been told of any prices)

But I think new channels will launch in July not June.

£19.50 is the correct price to add sky movies to the XL package at the moment. As other people have said there are no prices for the hd channels at the moment as they do not know when they are launching?

I think GMTV will be renamed Adrian (following the successful re-branding of UKTV G2 as Dave) as part of Mr. Chiles' contract terms with ITV. :rolleyes:

I understand that Christine Bleakley has declined Adrian's pleas to join him at GMTV. I wouldn't send either of them soiled toilet paper by post, as happened to Adrian in 2007, but I wouldn't pay either of them £1M either. :shocked:

With the new government looking to involve the public more in the running of schools and deciding where public spending cuts should be made, maybe we'll now get more of a say in how our TV Licence Fee is spent and how much some celebrities should be paid or if they should be retained at all. :tu:

How come even Sky have to drop a channel in order to re-use it's BSkyB EPG slot? :confused:

I make very good use of Living +2 on VM and will be sorry if it is dropped from cable. They can do what they like on satellite.

Yes, it's a good opportunity to do some housekeeping and regroup the channels sensibly.
