Right............on a whim I took the RAM sticks out of the slots they were in and placed them into the other two slots............we have a BIOS screen! :D :tu:

Hmm, sounds a bit fishy to me.
Now you know that everything does work might be worth trying a single stick in b1 and then the two sticks in a1 / b1. Manual def says a1 / b1 are the ones to use for a two stick config. |

As usual the manual isn't plain,it says memory should be installed in black slots for single channel but im guessing that means only 1 stick cuz a bit further down it says ,Pair of moduals into either slot.I imagine 2 sticks in black should do dual channel,fingers crossed :D
