Agree with that after this:

The South Coast club spent £35million on players during the transfer window and Boruc thinks a top-four spot is a realistic aim.

Speaking to the Southern Daily Echo, Boruc insisted there is nothing wrong with having lofty ambitions.

Boruc said: "It might sound weird, but if you really, really think about this, I would not say we are worse than any other team in England, so why not?

"If we're going to work hard, if we are going to believe in our work, we may be there. I am always dreaming about the Champions League. Obviously it is going to be tough but I think there is a chance towards the top of the league.

Lingard has always impressed in the reserves, good to see him get a chance somewhere and take it.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

Lol, I watched our game from the comfort of some site in Leeds. What happened? Barcelona for the first 20 minutes followed by an implosion of the highest kind. Debuchy was the best RB in the world for 15 minutes and he imploded spectacularly. Pardew out, Kinnear out, Ashley out. We've been through enough now. I'm not being big headed but the squad out there today should be hammering Hull and at the very least be challenging the top four again like 2 seasons ago. No issues with Remy, he looked the deal today and played like someone that actually gave a...

We may have been unlucky but Hull deserved it. I might even be overreacting but for 20 minutes Newcastle looked like the team they did back when we finished 5th. Until that's fixed though it counts for nothing.

I also checked in on the West Ham game, not convinced by the sending off but I feel they'll be getting frustrated about Carroll. When he's back they'll be stronger.

Final words. A lot of French Internationals looking to go to next summer's world cup, book your idea's up lads because those plane tickets are going elsewhere at present. Also a mention to Di Canio, bugger off eh, Sunderland may be rivals but he's just a glorified idiot with no clue how to manage a football club. Sunderland have spent well and deserve better than a fool like that running his gob constantly berating players at any given time. Gus Poyet is the favourite for the Newcastle job but say Di Canio gets his P45 and who knows?

Arsenal could use these two

Arsenal are plotting a swoop for German midfield pair Marco Reus, 24, and Julian Draxler, 20. Juventus are also said to be interested in Draxler, who is valued at £34m by his current club Schalke, while Dortmund's Reus would also cost in excess of £30m.

From Le Arsenalé to Arsen Leverkusen in 3 windows. :D

Draxler at £34 million, not yet and I think Bayern will have something to say. Reus is a go ahead though.

Reus is a tough one. He's refused BIG moves because he loves Dortmund. I'd love him at Arsenal. I agree with Draxlers tag, its too much. Arsenal used him as a smokescreen when completing the Ozil signing.

Why because they have made a few mistakes? big deal. name one defender that hasnt. even Kompany one of thee best in the league makes mistakes. on the whole they are quality defenders. Bayern and Barcelona wanted Koscielny summer just gone.

Nice result for Swansea, after a shaky start to the season it looks like things are on track now.

Not too hopeful about the Manc derby. But if ever there was an opportunity for Rooney to step up and prove Moyes wrong about RVP being the 'star' player it is today.

Doesn't hurt to add a signing of Ozil's quality though. Three assists today, nice to have a player who can add a serious threat to our set-pieces considering how many of them we get and waste.

Flamini has improved the defence a lot but given his price tag it will take a while before he gets credit for it. Man of the Match today. However our defence wasn't awful, one bad moment was punished but it wasn't a drastic mistake. Stoke had all of the ball for the last 20 mins but couldn't find a way though.

Bit misleading when simply losing a game can put you in the bottom half of the table at this stage. Fulham for example have had a hard start. We also beat Spurs.

True but when have United been totally played off the park like this by anyone? We'd have to go back to the days when Liverpool were in charge. You'd swear Fellani forgot to get off the team bus, he's been pretty anonymous.

You have to ask if Ferdinand is becoming a liability now. His awful header led to the first goal and it's certainly not the first time this season he's made bad errors. It's like teams are specifically targeting him now.

I have a bad feeling that SAF's final mistake was appointing Moyes. If he can't at least contain teams like City then it'll be a LONG time before United get back to form.

From BBC

Opta Joe: 3 - Man City have now scored 4+ goals against United in the PL three times, more than any other club (Newcastle have done it twice). Noisy.

We back! I really think Sky should hire Joe Kinnear for commentary. Have a red button feature that switches the commentary over to Joe Kinnear and Steve McClaren in a dutch accent.

When we lost at home to city 6-1, at home to Liverpool 4-1.... There are a few ;)

Losing away to city and Liverpool isn't the end of the world like some people are making out. Playing city, Liverpool and Chelsea in the first 5 games of the season was never going to be easy, obviously we would have wanted to do much better than we have done, but now is when we will see if Moyes is up to the task in my opinion.

The first was more to do with United being down to 10 men and in that Liverpool game United were not totally outclassed and outplayed like today.

Moyes had Nani, Hernandez and Kagawa waiting on the bench when United were 2-0 down and his decision was to bring on Cleverley?!

He brought his Everton mentality to United.

In case you haven't noticed I will draw your attention to this thread title, it is Season 2012/13 not 2011/12. The past is gone, and as far as I can remember Liverpool where top when they played United.:p:

Rubbish, theres been plenty of times United have been outplayed like they were today, you're just making something up to try and back up your stance on Moyes. The next 10 or so games are what he should be judged on.

Yep ok there have been other times we've been totally outplayed but never has it been followed by such a crushing scoreline. One of the things other fans hate United for was to be playing badly but still manage to win.

I dread to think.

Tell you what, bookmark this page. If we win anything this season and finish top 4 I'll admit I was very wrong about Moyes and barking up the wrong tree.
