Fed up with Harry Potter films on STV every night,

Predictable uninspiring programming IMO but alas quite a few channels have adopted that attitude this Christmas nash.

Fed up with soap operas filling the channels every evening all the year round - one leading into to the other. They are the leading cause of diabetes and dementia in the inactive masses, not diet..

They should blank all tv for an hour every evening - call it 'exercise hour' - will it work or would the lazy so and so's just put a dvd on ? ;)

I really hope it's nothing to worry about but he is getting old now, we have had him for nearly 12 years and we don't know his exact age as we got him from the cat and dog home.

Hope your dog is okay

My sisters Labrador has quite a big lump on his rib-cage. Been there for a couple of years. The vet said that they could remove it but that it's benign so unless he really suffers she's letting it be. Old feller is 12 years old and is getting tired on a long walk but still game. Hope it's the same for yours weenie.

Moan: My main PC's clock stops about an hour after it's turned off. It's likely that the coin cell battery on the mobo's run down although speedfan says it's 2.95 volts but that's probably off-load when the PC is powered. I'll have to pull the covers and replace it. Not really an issue but does highlight the age of the machine. Soon be time to build a new one and update the OS.

With luck it could just be that the bearings need lubrication. The heat tends to dry them out and as the motor has very little torque when starting they just stop. They are protected in that state so it aught to be OK.

Yes it is quite common in older dogs as one of our late beloved dogs had a bit of fatty tissue which looked like a lump..

Den the wee one is delighted that his dog is going to be okay although he was annoyed when the vet said that our dog is overweight LOL but I doubt that he will stop feeding him what he does not like on his plate at dinner time, or the slices of cheese he gives him when he is making roasted cheese :) I did laugh at my hubby's answer when the vet said this as his reply was well maybe we have fed him a bit to much over Christmas, I just thought no he gets fed to much all year round.
