The other Zone channels, which are not available on cable, are also launching with Zone Romantica becoming CBS Drama and Zone Thriller becoming CBS Action. It's unknown whether these will come to cable, but I expect VM will pick them up post analogue switchoff.

These indeed WILL be coming to VM;

Quote: The November 16 arrival of CBS Action, CBS Reality and CBS Drama on UK digital television will mark the first time that a branded CBS channel has ventured outside the US, reports Broadcast Now.

For the launch, Chellomedia has freed up six of its existing channels on Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat via its Chello Zone international broadcasting arm. Unquote.

But Andrew we are in Scotland, ITV1 +1 is only set to broadcast in England and Wales.

But I think Virgin may add BBC ALBA to channel 113 in Scotland.

I saw the first episode of that the other night and it was quite good. Hopefully it won't be in a slot where they have to cut it to bits.

From Thursday if you are from the following areas:

Basildon, Birmingham/Small Heath. Grimsby, Hemel Hempstead, Norwich, South London/Croydon, Sussex (Brighton), Thames Valley (Reading), Warwick.

Your area will become an Digital Cable only area and you will also lose Teletext on your local BBC, ITV1, Channel 4 and Five (Virgin Channels 101 - 105.)

What is the common denominator here? Are those all ex-TW areas? All Langley platform?

LIVING + 2 will stay on Virgin Channel 159 for now. I think it will closed when Virgin and Sky do an deal to carry LIVING HD on Sky.
I fail to see the correlation between HD launch on Sky and dropping +2 on VM.

As long as there is bandwidth and an EPG slot on VM, why not keep Living +2? :confused:

Without it being on Sky, it won't be viable to stay just on VM
