So your saying new customers will get it first , I seriously doubt that VM would make themselves look pretty stupid .

I do not think they would be that stupid to do that as that would alienate a awful lot of customers .

No, I'm saying it's ridiculous to say there's no advantage to VM giving it to a new customer over an existing one when VM exists to generate revenue and new customers provide the biggest uptick in revenue.

What I mean is.. if VM gave TiVo to Sky customers first and made existing customers wait, it would cause a public relations disaster, so wouldn't be advantagous to the business.

As I've already said... pre regs will now get TiVo before new and non reg customers. Installs in April, then opened up to other custs with May/June installs.

Do you know DF whether this next contact before the end of March will be an email or the actual call to take your order.

I'm sure they'll continue in to April for the later pre regs, but no new customer will be installed until we've got the pre regs sorted.

That tends to suggest that calls will be done in registration order. Is this correct? That wold make a lot of us on here, who registered on day one, very happy!

That's what I would say I bet the first few days were mainly forum fanatics who registered which you would think would put us within the first few thousand names.

I am a bit late responding lol. It will be a phone call to arrange your install.

The plan is to get all the pre reg customers installed before opening it up to anyone else. They hope to have made all the calls by the end of March and of course that will mean some installs will be in early April.
