My parents have been having lots of problems with their OD and 20mb BB , they rang and were told there area was having some essential upgrades. They received a letter through the door today saying their services would be down for 4 hours , VM techs were working on the green cab down the road , when finished the green cab was painted grey as were a few others in the area. What are these upgrades ?

I have not seen any rumors about Sky Atlantic and Sky Atlantic HD launching soon.

At the moment it is just speculation and nothing more.

If you want all those channels, get Sky. If you don't want Sky, wait.

Exactly.

So, as per above, does it apply to everyone who currently have two boxes, or just those adding a second box after 31st October?

Yup. Anyone who already has multiple TiVos won't be affected, but as far as I understand it any new TiVo boxes ordered after 1st November will be for all customers

Not yet, we're still getting used to using some new tungsten carbide drills for the preliminary coal-face scouring operations
