Just had a massive thunderstorm near Cambridge, roads flooded. Still 17c outside and 29c inside!

woke up at 2-30 am sweltering hot,had gone to bed with the window open ,had to turn on the air con.

Alot fresher this morning, I was able to wash the car at 9am without it evaporating instantly.

In NW London at the moment, and we've just had an hour of thunder, lightning, torrential rain storm, and then a mixture of torrential rain and large hailstones...

well you will insist on trying to hobnob with the hoity toity lot down there, and it's bound to be awful weather when there's a tube strike :D

My son lives here now, with his partner and child - we were looking after the four month old for four nights and five days while they had a nice couple of days away in Wales, so there wasn't much chance to "hit the town" (or sleep... :D ).

Cloudy here but nice,not too hot...
