Top bet, the next manager to get fired - Arsene Wenger.

Being a yid, l wouldn't normally say this, his days are over, Arsenal used to be a side that used to be tough, not anymore, OK they beat us the other night, but that was the Carling Cup, todays game was Premier stuff.

On talksport, that was the talk, Wenger going.

It was on Talksport, it must be true then because they dont just come up with any old controversial rubbish to get people to phone in to cover for a lack of sports coverage do they and being a yid I'd have said you would normally say something like that, shame you chose to do it after he has just signed a new long term deal and on the day the club announced record profits + they play really decent football, you know like Spurs used to decades ago and they are considerably more successful than most other clubs.

Congrats Arthur, your worst post ever, I just heard the announcement on Talksport.

I'm not convinced that the first goal for liverpool was correct. I didn't view it as a passback.

But can't argue with their second, good reaction by Gerard.

Sorry? What was the Spurs score yesterday? Worry about your own team instead of Arsenal all the time, small club mentality or what.

Awful performance from Arsenal yesterday but certainly not a trend, bad results happen in a season.

I'm still shocked that City have beat Chelsea three times in a row in the premiership.. I must be in another dimension or something...

I also worry about the dimension..need to make sure i don't put another inch or two on the waist :D

Happy with the Man city result, but still don't understand mancini's tactics. Tevez as lone striker, and they punt the ball in the air?..tevez would be short in Snow White's team.

Hopefully kolarov, balotelli will be back, and join boateng..then we might see some good football. High hopes :)

Was just looking at the table and quite suprised to see both WBA and Everton with minus 3 goal difference, yet ones in 5th the other bottom.. Looks like it's gonna be a really weird season

Re: Football Season 2010/2011

Personally i think Mancini got his tactics pretty much spot on against Chelsea, obviously the players putting in high crosses wasn`t going to bring much fruition with the size of the players in the box but he did seem to tell them to keep it more on the deck in the second half.
Certainly stopping Chelsea from playing there flowing passing game worked especially in midfield where Essien, Malouda and Ramires weren`t given time or space to feed Drogba and Anelka. The same tactics have been used to nullify Barcelona recently.
If Chelsea had got the first goal City would have had to push on which would have freed up the Chelsea`s playmakers and it could have been 2 or 3 nil.

Cracking result for City, lets just hope they can push on from here and minimum get Champions league, at least they stopped the runaway train and gave Man U and Arsenal a chance to regain some ground (which Arsenal failed at miserably!).

I also am not a fan of playing De Jong and Barry together in the same team but it seems to work against the better teams. I just hope against teams we should beat he adopts a more attacking style ;)

A much needed result which should do the squad a world of good, watch us lose at home to Newcastle next, oh the joys of being a City fan

isn't this just a bit of a non story as basically it just says they company COULD go into administration. The same could be said for all the clubs in the Prem really

It is not all bad. From that article.......

Quote:

Should the bank opt for the former, it would put Kop Holdings at risk of going into administration, though Liverpool as a club is solvent. Though that would not automatically result in a nine-point penalty, as suffered by Portsmouth last season, Liverpool are the company’s only asset and, as such, the Premier League would be likely to examine the matter.
but it is bad enough, plus I did put "on the brink" not "are in administration. It is about time these mainly American leeches were banned taking over clubs with borrowed money.
