So how many teams ARE going to start?
They rejigged the points system so more places "pay", but without revaluing 1st versus second - 25-20 is the same ratio as 10-8, and if they end up with maybe only one more team than before, then the points reshuffle will have been - pointless.

I thought the whole exercise was pointless in the first place.

According to the news this morning, there will be 12 teams in the grid at Bahrain

They changed the points for second place to 18 in the end (originally was going to be 20)

What I don't understand is why the sauber team are still called BMW Sauber, when it's powered by a ferrari engine and has a ferrari gear box???

If I was a BMW motorsport boss I'd be embarrassed to have my name on the team.

Technicality AFAIK. They've yet to find a title sponsor, and BMW are providing most of the infrastructure anyway with Hinwil.

Spare a thought for Sir Stirling Moss who fell three storeys down a lift shaft last Saturday.

He broke both ankles and injured his spine in the accident, which happened when the lift doors in his gadget-filled home opened when they should have stayed shut.
