Does anyone know if the ITV Player will be in the Virgin Media's on Demand EPG or will it be available via a separate system like BBC iPlayer?

i would think in virgin epg at first then maybe stand alone like iplayer in the future. this is how the iplayer developed

Interesting. Do you think if I was to call Virgin at this later hour and ask the staff on the phone about ITV player on demand they would be able to give me a answer as to if we get it or not tomorrow ?

I have just been told from an Virgin insider that ITV Player is to launch on Virgin Media tomorrow.

It will launch under the name ''ITV Net Player'' via Virgin Media's catch-up on Demand.

Media Boy you might have wrong information on this one. I just spoke to 2 different advisors at Virgin, one at tech support, and the other at general enquires. Both told me they have no updates on there computers regarding ITV on demand coming to Virgin Media tomorrow, and if it was to launch tomorrow the staff would be aware of this, and they have been told nothing.

Not saying my sources are correct either, but 2 staff members from 2 different departments related to Virgin tv did not have a clue to when the service would started rolling out.

Confirmed. Here too, it's just appeared. Strangely there's loads of stuff from yesterday. Well who cares :tu:

Infact there's stuff going back to last Wednesday and more impressively it's not just ITV1 there's ITV2 and 3 (limited) stuff too.

Sadly the non-catch up variant is blank so far...

It's live here in Liverpool (exTelewest) too... VM's VOD just gets better all the time :)
