Great result for the Sky Blues. 11,500 fans watching in the biggest deployment of city fans since 1987.

From what I hear thoroughly deserved and Man Utd outplayed.

Great work city and especially Dowie.

Oh, and from 73,000 appearntly upto 20,000 plastic Man Utd fans left with half hour left. Obviously to get back to their homes in Dorset.

:D:D:D:D

Seems to me he's more annoyed at the performance than the result.

Kuszczak, Bardsley (Brown 45), Evans (Carrick 56), Pique, Simpson, Nani, Martin (Campbell 45), O'Shea, Eagles, Dong, Anderson.
The Utd players from last night...O'Shea and Carrick are the only two players who may, at the present time, get a starting place in the first team.

Internationals? Not exactly regular internationals...

He was annoyed at losing mate, theres something on there saying he hates to lose.

He hasn't made any excuses regarding the fact they were reserves, from how I read that article he expected to win.

Take a leaf out of Fergies book mate, admit defeat gracefully without making excuses. Utd should have beaten Coventry with that team (Nani/Anderson are class players) and they didnt because they were out performed.

All cups mean a lot to Fergie, he hates losing and there is noway he put out that side thinking it wasn't good enough to beat Coventry (and on paper it should have)

Talk of the devil

West Ham are interested in Cruzeiro's £5m-rated 19-year-old Brazilian striker Kerlon Moura Souza. (Daily Mirror)

Thanks but it'll be a cold day in hell before I take advice from you! Perhaps you missed my post where I said it was an awful display?

The new players are all class but as you should know, new players usually take time to bed in.

Yes but some mean more than others. This is proven by comparing the sides be fields in the League and FA Cups.

He still expects the side he fields in the Carling Cup to beat the opponents (and they should have). You telling me he would have fielded the same side he did against coventry against a premiership, I think not. You need to get rid of those red shaded glasses you are wearing mate.

This should be worth watching on football first or match of the day later.......

Portsmouth 7-4 Reading

7-4 is a record for total PL goals in a game.

Forest win again, 3-0 at Yeovil. If we win our game in hand it's up to 2nd.

OK. Anything you say.

Anyway, back to reality for a moment, I'm really not impressed with the performance this afternoon.
